North Coast Festival

We spent a good few hours at the North Coast Festival yesterday and saw some really great acts. The line up included Len Del, Changing Face, Louise Carver, Gang of Instrumentals and Goodluck. Add in a couple of comedians and it made for a great day of entertainment.

Although the venue was a bit out of town, and made for a long drive after the show, it was well worth the effort. The organisation at the venue was great. Lots of security which included guys with torches walking you back to your car in the darkness. Food and drink was readily available as well. The stage was set up in a clearing amongst some trees so there was ample shade around. Well done to the sound and lighting crew.

On arrival we found that ticket prices had been reduced from R165 to R60 which made it great value. Our only disappointment was the small crowd. Today is the last day and ticket prices have been reduced so hopefully it will be well supported. The line-up today includes local star John Ellis.
